Ordered 2 phones via premier yesterday (11:45a and 2:15p). Email confirm received immediately on both. Order Status appeared immediately on premier order status and nothing on regular order status. Order Status now shows under regular order status as of 7pm tonight. Both orders shows quantity of 1 backordered.

Called AMEX, confirmed 2 authorizations for $314.

Same here except I ordered at 7:39a CST yesterday.

It said my card would not be charged until it shipped on my premier order. No none else read that?

I don't understand why more AT&T premiere members didn't go to an AT&T store? I went yesterday and ordered 4 phones for my business - all new lines of service since I'm switching some users from tmobile and sprint.

The lady who helped me confirmed that the credit card charges will not appear until the device has been shipped. She told me that the website was so overwhelmed yesterday the best bet is to go into an AT&T store to order your phone.

What's even better is that they will hold the phones for 10 days before releasing them into inventory, unlike Apple who will release them by close of business on the 24th if you don't make it in.

Lucky me, I'm traveling home on the 24th and my flight gets in at 8:30. The AT&T store is about 10 minutes from the airport and the lady who helped me gave me her cell phone number and said they would stay open to activate the phones if we can make it in the doors before they close. She's expecting they'll have to stay open late on launch day anyway but I thought it was nice to have that level of customer service.

For those of you who are unsure about your order status - try stopping by an AT&T store.

I did that... they said that they can't do anything until it goes from the Premier order status into the regular system. They have no visibility into the Premier queue. All the guy did was give me his card and asked me to call the store in 24 hours to check.

Both my orders now say attention 1 has said that since they showed up in the premiers order but now the other one went from processing to attention

strange. seems a lot of us are going from processing to attention! glad it isn't just me i guess. still not pleased though. i never got a confirmation email. my order went through at 11:30am on the 15th.

My cc just showed pending charges, so I went to the premier tracking and it was still processing. I then went to the regular order status, and it is now there... But shows as backordered. Not sure when I will get my phone, but at least now I know it is on order.

Same boat here. I ordered mine around 530 am CT and have had a pending charge on my account about ten minutes after I ordered. I called the bank and they said everything was clear on their side. The hold is there and AT&T can get that charge whenever they want.

I look up the premier status and it says "Processing". The AT&T website says Item Ordered and Backordered. This sucks. I better get the phone on release day since the announcement was anybody that ordered anytime after noon was going to get the phone on the 25th and after.

I need to call AT&T but they are closed! If only Apple's site hadn't gone down, I would have ordered from them.

finally charged my card!

I just got charged for it at last, never been so happy to see money go OUT my account.
That said, I now have one coming from (both?) att and apple? can they really be that daft?
