Strange--Amazon is no longer accepting preorders on the product page. Not sure if they've already allocated all their stock to the orders placed and perhaps will ship the orders, like the CR you spoke with said, on Monday?
I noticed that too. And it seems like Best Buy has gotten their supply so hopefully that means that Amazon would be getting theirs soon.
I think the CR was correct with the information they gave you! Looks like the 13" w/ Touch Bar just came back in stock and is almost sold out now with Amazon showing 2 left. Also, it says estimated delivery Nov. 23 at checkout, so maybe they're just waiting for the shipment on Monday and they'll deliver by Wednesday.

The product status has changed from "Not released" to "only available from third-party sellers" on Amazon website.

Yay! Good news for the 13" TB crowd. Mine was the high-end 15" so wonder if it will hold true for that one too. No updates on my order yet and Amazon hasn't restocked that one. Hopefully soon!
Yes, I received the 15" high end as well, but I'm assuming the only reason it's currently showing in stock for 13" is because they haven't sold through the stock they are expecting to receive for that model on Monday. They most likely took off the 15" w/ touch bar because they have sold all the stock they are expecting on Monday and don't want to oversell the quantity they will be able to ship. This is my hypothesis given the sudden change in availability. If it holds true I'm hoping to see some movement on Monday

Like you have an order for the 15" as well? Do you have any updates on that order?
I'm asking because it seems like the people who have 13" have a shipping date already but my 15" still hasn't been updated so going based on that, it seems like the 13" are ready to ship out but they aren't 100% sure on when they'd be getting the 15" (or the estimated delivery date would be updated) so hopefully, it's Monday but it would be later too.
The 13 which have a shipping date is not the model that had a wrong price I guess. So for those who got that super discount, probably still need to wait? ( but I I hope I am wrong lol)
Yes, sorry that's what I meant--I placed an order for the 15" through Amazon, but so far no updates on my order page. I'll wait till Monday to call in if there has been no change in status.

No, I didn't do anything with my account. I called my bank and they said there's nothing wrong with my credit card.
Did you try talking to someone at Amazon? If they honored the initial price mistake, maybe you can get it again at that price especially if it wasn't your fault.
Yes, I called them and the asked me to order again when it's in stock, and they will help me to change the price as what I got before.
Unless you live in a small town without an Apple Store or you have a discount with Amazon, I see no reason to purchase a Mac from them when there are plenty of them in the store.
I got the 13 inch 512GB w/ touch bar at 1499, and they promise me will honor that price.
These pre-orders were the ones with the Amazon price-mistake where the high-end 15" were $800 off and the high-end 13" were $500 off hence the reason why people are okay with the wait. But yeah, otherwise, the Apple store is the way to go!
I talked to Amazon CP this morning, she said they need 8 to 10 days to get 13'' Touch Bar MacBook Pro in stock before shipping.
