Preorder Thread

I am new here and have a few questions.
1. Should I order through the AT&T website or Apple website?
2. What information do I need to order a new iPhone?
3. Can I pick up the phone at the Apple store (or AT&T store if I go that route) on release day, or do I have to have it shipped home?
4. If I am not the account holder, will I still be able to purchase? (its my mom's account)

Well, my pre-order is already 'unofficially' in, since I know the workers at my local T-Mobile store. Come Friday morning they are auto adding my info.

I made the mistake of ordering through AT&T for home delivery....I'm not going to do that again.

I think you need to be the account holder. Or at least be able to make changes to the account, have your mom add you in that regard. (What I had to do 10 years ago in college)

Right now I'm debating ordering from apple and having it shipped home or ordering through apple and picking it up on the 22nd.

Okay. Thanks. I was leaning towards the apple site anyways, I'll do that.

EDIT: Updated the ATT account, I am now a authorized person on the account who can make changes. Also, it will ship to my house, then I will change it to my mom's work where she can sign for it.
