I know, I have to admit my 'tar just looks way 733ter than me, that's why I'm hesitating :D ;)

Ah, give yourself a little more credit - not everyone can be a model like me... :p ;) Hmm, why is it so damn easy for me to be a bastard? Call it a gift, I guess....

Seriously though, feel free to post your pic in the New Year and join the club - I've seen so many horrible ones that there's no way yours can be that bad. :)

I never said it is bad, I just said my tar looks 733ter ;) :p

Fair enough then. :)

Hey, are you going to be doing any more of your App Discussion Series threads? Always enjoyed reading through those...

That's always fun. I don't envy the job of the Mods sometimes. That's why I try to assist them by acting as an unofficial policeman by snitching and complaining - er, I mean reporting bad posts and users (it has nothing at all to do with being a bastard or trying to get people in trouble...) ;)
...

The last two Januarys (Januaries?) were quite active, in both respects. I should think that people would be good but they're more likely to be themselves. :D

Reporting isn't a bad thing, esp. if it makes the MacRumors experience more pleasant for the group on whole. Besides, up until you revealed yourself (!), everyone probably thought that it was just me. :D

It should be interesting to see how many of the newbies are banned by the end of January.

I'm interested in what computers people are buying this holiday season. Will there be a lot of G5 iMacs or Powerbooks instead?

I reakon there will be iBooks and iMacs bought this season. The iBook has been updated recently - a couple of months before xmas so there would have been kids asking for them because they are new. iMacs will definately be purchased.

BTW, how many people woke up the other day with a G5 iMac under the tree??

The last one didn't seem to get much response, but there are still 3 or 4 Apple apps left that I'll do. Actually I'll start one later today. :)

Cool, I'll take a look for it and try to contribute... ;)

Well, now it's the two of us people can blame - and I'm perfectly fine with that.

poe

They have yet to work out which is the power port and which is the ethernet.

...can it?

Sure it can, ever since the power over ethernet option came into being...now that they aren't busy looking for the "any" key the power is the next big mystery.

i think i love the

'another stupid question'

and

'stupid question'

thread titles the best. WHY!? IF ITS STUPID, YOU OUGHT TO BE ABLE TO FIND THE ANSWER ELSEWHERE!

LOL - good one! Hmm, I think that would have to go down as one of the rarest, memorable moments of MacRumors history if that were ever to happen.
It already happened. Read the edit comment under his post here.
