So, the first comparison videos are turning up, and it shows that the iPad 2 is actually faster overall than the new iPad.

I write this post, as I don't understand - It seems very un-Applely. Let's sum up: The new iPad is thicker, heavier and slower. Why is this? Was Apple simply forced to use this processor to preserve the 10 hour battery?
I genuinely want to understand this - Not trolling.
