Preparing for shipment thread

Yeah of course I know that, im not worried about it. Im talking about everyone else who is following their phones from China do their doorstep lol.
 
both of my phones are now in KY, according to Apple they are still preparing for shipment. Last night they moved from China to Alaska, now to KY. I used the reference number trick to find their tracking numbers... I think Apple marks them shipped when they get to their final hub before delivery...

Exactly. I assume we'll see a massive "shipped" update on apple.com on 9/24 (or overnight from 9/24 to 9/25). Along with UPS/FedEx updates.

Mine is sitting in Rialto, California here.

Probably won't see tracking update until 9/24 [evening hours] as it only has to hit Ontario UPS hub before pickup or delivery.

*Even for phones sitting in distro centers further away I assume we won't see tracking info update until tomorrow as most ship "UPS Next Day Air Saver". The China shipments updated as they were coming to USA UPS locations first.

I was worried about the impact the Pope would have on shipment deliveries as I am in the South Jersey Philly area and there are major road closures here for days. I'm sure all of that was taken into account :(.
I'm still prepiring for shipment on Apple, but UPS says I'm in Alaska
 
My status has updated to 'Shipment Dispatched'. Wondering what time my 6s will arrive to me in the UK tomorrow. Hopefully the morning. Anyone else with the same status or managed to receive their phone early because of a shipment glitch?

well that was a bit on an un-moment..... normally i'm really excited to get our shipping emails... but i've been tracking both phones so long it was kinda of "oh... about time"

i am excited about getting my phone tomorrow, though!

Mine is still showing that it departed harrisburg and is on its way to ups facility, I am guessing that is my local customer center where I will be picking up my phone.
 
So ups apparently said at the request of the shipper my request to pick my phone up at the customer center was cancelled!!! Anyone else have this happen?

So I just chatted with ups and they said that the delivery date was rescheduled at the request of the shipper, but it was already scheduled for the 25th and still is. But when that happened it cancelled my request to pick it up at the customer center and if I put in that request now I wouldn't' be able to pick it up until saturday so now I am stuck just letting them deliver it whenever it gets delivered.

I would just keep an eye on your tracking status [sign up for email/text alerts for all activity]. The impacted zip codes are listed here:

Since it's "Next Day Air", most of our tracking status' should be updated tonight/overnight (9/24).

I believe the return address label on my Apple Watch was Rialto, but the UPS shipment originated in Ontario, CA (California, not Canada).
