SO I see almost everybody is charged- nice, but DOES ANY body see this status- Preparing for Shipment - who pre-ordered Sep 12 night form the Apple.com ?

Apple.com / full price / 6S 128 / Sept 3.15 AM / DC's/ Still processing but got charged !

Last year my iPhone switched to Shipped the day before it was delivered. Don't remember when it went to prepared.

It will. (Probably not on the 25th based on what it says, but it could slow things down).

Apple places a hold on your money initially and then when it's actually shipped your money gets processed through. That's how it worked with all my previous apple orders.

It goes on the card as a pending charge and often will drop back off again before the phone ever ships. People lose their sh*t about it every year, thinking that their order has been canceled, etc., but it's common. It will go back on as an actual charge once the phone ships.

So, all I did was use the upgrade on ATT Next. I got charged $59.00 (I think), the day of making the order (the day of the release), and then the charge dropped. The money was not taken from the bank. I wonder what this means? I ordered a 6S 128GB. It still say's "In Progress".
Granted, I didn't place the order until 10:30 am EST.

If the phones are on your support profile then it's likely it already shipped or is tonight or later Friday

Well in my past experience I was billed ONLY when my phone shipped, not a week before it's been that way for the last four iPhones I've bought. But, I know.
Can't wait until the 25th.

If Apple says it's gonna deliver 25th, it's gonna be 25th, no earlier no later.
Even if it gets to your local ups hub tomorrow, it will NOT be delivered or picked up until next Friday
Even if it never goes into preparing, it will show up to your doorstep next Friday
