Yes! There will! I got insider information from an AT&T employee! He was a manager so I know he was right
I know the guy who found the iPhone 5 at the bar and he said there was an appointment on the calendar that said the invitations were going out next week..........

I bet nothing will happen next week because of the holiday. Next week would probably the best bet. If they did it the week after next things would line up perfectly with the rumors of an October 7th release Here's my prediction, Send invite on September 12th, Announce phone and IOS 5 release on September 20th, IOS 5 launches on October 3rd, and iPhone 4S or 5 launches on October 7th.

This does not follow Apple's previous pattern. Apple will release the new OS at time of launch of new device. Then at a later date, release it for older devices.

I think you have it backwards. iOS 3.0 and iOS 4.0 were both released before the new iPhone was officially on sale.

But i do believe that an invite is going out next week.. I'm thinking Tuesday or Thursday.. The actual day of the event is up in the air... Maybe the 14th or 16th..
For preorders to start on the 22nd/23rd.. Release the 30th or 7th...
I'm pretty sure they hold the event at the end of september and release of iphone in the start of october🙂 I wouldnt mind if it was next week though! 😀
