Preview app - search is broken

I'm having similar issues, and I'm surprised more people aren't complaining. First search works, but then when do a new one, it just breaks.
 
Finally people who have the same problem as me. Sometimes Preview doesn't even highlight the word I'm looking for via cmd + f. In addition, I cannot select or copy the text when I use Preview. Does one of you already have a solution?
