All the webstores are down at the moment, so something is afoot!

The stores are open and working fine for me....perhaps they are only down for you because your something is afoot with your browser 😛
Besides that....would Apple bring down the entire online store to introduce a few new products? Wouldn't they just update the pages offline and then publish them when the products are announced (hopefully MWSF!)

Price cuts have happened, maybe not on the products you'd like though. All the webstores were down for a couple of hours.

They were down earlier (check some other threads). This always happens when Apple introduces new products or lowers prices - it's not a simple matter of updating a single page, so it generally requires the store to be down for a relatively short period of time. That's why everyone gets excited to see the "post-its" on the store front.

I was unaware, guess I do not check the store often enough 😛

What products have dropped in price? Any hot deals or combo purchase oppurtunities come up?
