Merging the last two (and best) phones I've owned: iPhone & Razr is very interesting. if only they could make it as slim as the Razr was. While I'm not sure the market needs this...Apple should hire this guy and work out the design kinks.

Sure, but Apple needs huge sales numbers to justify selling a smaller version of their current phone tech

They dont want to be distracted by something that won’t move the sales needle, and not enough people are leaving for Samsung for the folders

Agreed. I honestly don't believe the hype with them and why some find it "innovative". Nintendo DS did it long long before. Its just extending on that idea.

I own an iPhone 14 pro max and a fold 4.

My fold 4 is simply fantastic. To be able to expand into a mini tablet is something you think is stupid until you put it through usage.

Iphone folding into an iPad mini. How can you not like this idea. insane,

First of all, foldable phones should fold with the screen on the outside! What's the point of closing it and having to open the phone each time you want to use it. Or even worse, to have extra screens on it so you can see messages or calls when closed??!!! That's just plain stupid. That's why Apple hasn't made a "foldable" iPhone yet.

Apple is about simplicity and simplifying your life, a foldable phone doesn't simplify anything.

My guess is that Apple would make a foldable iPhone only if the screen can be kept on the outside so you can use the phone when it's closed or "minimized" too.
