Primitive Folding iPhone Built From Motorola Razr and iPhone Parts

LG Display has today unveiled the world's first high-resolution display that is stretchable. It is based on microLED.
Now that will be revolutionary for rollable, foldable and stretchable devices...

That was super interesting to watch. These guys are very clever. It was interesting to see how much better the hinge was on the Razr than the Samsung Z Flip. 2 years and the Z-flip screen looks like this.

I could see them making a foldable iPhone at some point, but you can bet it's not going to be anything like the Galaxy Z Fold... Timmy doesn't want to give you any reason to purchase one device when he can force you to buy two.

Some people would like them, and in life and sales that's all that matters.

Sure, but Apple needs huge sales numbers to justify selling a smaller version of their current phone tech

They dont want to be distracted by something that won’t move the sales needle, and not enough people are leaving for Samsung for the folders

Ugly. Horrid. Why? Dumb. Why? No. Why?

Can we please stop with the foldable iPhone?

People complain about everything under the sun as it is Apple related. Can you imagine if they released a foldable and had issues…?

👊🤓👍

First of all, foldable phones should fold with the screen on the outside! What's the point of closing it and having to open the phone each time you want to use it. Or even worse, to have extra screens on it so you can see messages or calls when closed??!!! That's just plain stupid. That's why Apple hasn't made a "foldable" iPhone yet.

Apple is about simplicity and simplifying your life, a foldable phone doesn't simplify anything.

My guess is that Apple would make a foldable iPhone only if the screen can be kept on the outside so you can use the phone when it's closed or "minimized" too.

Something I hadn’t considered until this video is that it would be nice to have my phone laying down but propped up playing a video. That’s the one thing I would use a folding phone for. 🙃
