duplex printing on mac sorted

OK - I had problem with xerox 7500 printing word documents. none of the hints worked for me, but managed to sort it out.

The solution that worked for me - go to print, click on the dropdown where you see "Copies & Pages" and the option XEROX Features should display. From there you can press one-sided or two-sided.

(Macbook Pro 13 / HP Laserjet Pro M402n)

SOLUTION
File--> "Print". Click on dialogue box directly under the two small Orientation options (Portrait or Landscape). Select "Paper handling." Choose "Pages to Print." Since manual two-sided printing is the only duplex option (no automatic on this printer), select "Odd only," then flip and reinsert paper and choose "Even only" for second run.

Was having the same issue and this post solved it for me. :)

Just remembered how to do it! (used to only use Macs, then started only using PCs due to work - This is way easier/more convenient to do on a PC)

FILE>Print
In the Print Dialogue Box, Click on the default "Copies and Pages" then select __"Finishing"__
This gives you the "Print Style" where you can click the 2-Sided Printing.

i get the option for two-sided, but i can't click on it. i had a pc before and i could definitely print double-sided. when the odd pages printed, the printer told me to put the sheets back in flipped. but here, i dont even get the option to print odd or even pages. can someone help me with this? i'm more worried about the first issue than the first one.

Go to File/Print > Copy and Pages BUT instead of selecting "Layout", select "Finishing". The option is there on my ancient macbook pro.

Hi, I can't figure out how to print double sided using my MB. It works fine in windows, but I can't even find the option to do so in OS X. Can anyone help? (I'm using various different HP printers and can't do it with any.)
[doublepost=1473643113][/doublepost]I was having the same problem, although I have a mac bookpro and trying to print a word doc on my hp printer. I discovered that if I just opened the doc as a pdf then I could print it with the option of two-sided. For whatever reason I could not click on the two sided option when trying to print it as word doc. My suggestion would be to try opening whatever document you are trying to print as a pdf or even in try saving the document in Pages then printing it from one of those programs.

I threw out my Canon Pixma MP640 last month because of this issue, and the fact that it would not scan unless both ink cartridges were full. I kind of wish I'd found this thread.

Yes, that works on my mac too. Problem solved!
