Why can't the Original Poster have the option of deleting his threads if no one else post in it ?

Edit:

If Steam won't download or update any game try this:

Steps to Reboot a Router and Modem

  1. Unplug the router and the modem. ...
  2. Wait at least 30 seconds. ...
  3. Plug in the modem. ...
  4. Wait at least 60 seconds. ...
  5. Plug in the router. ...
  6. Wait at least 2 minutes. ...
  7. When the router and modem restart, test to see if the problem went away.

I thought of that but I got too lazy to post it, lol.

Since I saved the solution in my notes, I will post it.

MR forum should have given the poster permission to delete his own threads if no one replied to it.

OP, you can report the post and request it be deleted.

That fixed Steam for you? If your computer has a good connection to the internet, I’d just restart the computer, and/or restart Steam.

Yes, I tried almost every solution in the steam support including restarting the Mac and steam an no luck.

Not to mention I even tried turning off the router for about 1 min and then turned on, And still no luck.

Until I followed the steps I posted earlier and it worked.

And steam was the only App with this problem, everything else was fine.

For future reference if you want readers to benefit from your experience, use a better more descriptive thread title, like Steam won’t update of download. And the thread title in existing MR threads can be edited by you. :)
