I've noticed a serious issue when trying to post or reply using the iPad. If the text flows longer than the edit window, the window doesn't expand and the text that scrolled beyond the window is un-editable. Attempts to tap the screen to relocate the cursor within the edit window will cause it to be out of sync visually with the point of edit, usually two or three lines below where it should be displayed.

I've noticed on my iPhone, just like on a regular computer, the text window continues to expand as more text is added. And relocating the cursor while editing is no problem either on the iPhone. For whatever reason it's only the iPad that the text window does not expand to the size of the text or properly relocate the cursor. Essentially, any typing that is contained within the size of the starting text box is mostly manageable, otherwise I have to go to a computer to post, reply or edit.

I'm using Safari on iOS 11.3.1 on a 2017 iPad.

Perhaps something from this thread might be of some help: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/async-frame-scrolling-breaks-the-response-box.2112537/

Nope. Makes no difference whether I have "Async Frame Scrolling" on or off. So then I tried turning off all experimental features, still did not correct the anomaly.

Oops. Spoke too soon. Apparently it required a reboot to take affect.

Yes. Shutting off “Async Frame Scrolling” followed by a reboot worked. Thanks
