Try clicking here to go to your preferences then check the boxes like I have mine with rich text on and flash off. Then see if you can drag and drop an image into the new message compose window.

You're either going to have to resize them yourself or shoot pictures at a lower resolution. They have to be smaller than 5MB

I had it fail at 2.28, 2.11, and 1.58.

The xss security notifications are propping up on all xenforo - 1.5.14 fixes this, the admins can add a single line to their xenforo config.php to address this, mike posted about this on xenforo.com -
i haven't been able to upload a picture in a while

Oddly enough my iPhone wouldn’t let me upload the exact same photos that my iPad just allowed.

Could the staff perhaps at least mention that they are aware and are looking into it.
Or is this just turning into a ' we dont care ' corner where we lose interest in adding rich media to our content

It's utterly frustrating to spend 15 minutes on a post just because we want to add media

There are a couple different issues being discussed in this thread, some reportedly fixed, so I'm not clear exactly what problem you are having. Can you explain a bit more and I'll pass the information along to the site admins.

I haven't been able to upload images to any post for a while. on Safari and Chrome, on my old imac 24" and the out of the box new 27" imac (also with safari and chrome).
Upload is happening and it returns with a xenforo overlay image saying Security error, please try again"

Sometimes it works though.. 9/10 times it doesn't. I do not have this issue on my own xenforo network or any xenforo site i use.

I have also tried that to avail.

Earlier I was unable to upload from my iPhone, but the identical pics were uploaded without issue on my iPad.
