Got a new watch but now there's these lines on the display
[doublepost=1488545561][/doublepost]It's actually annoying cause I can see it every time I move my watch so I can see the time.

I can see the vertical lines your referring too. Strange. Never see that before. It also looks like a vertical scratch on the lower left hand corner of the display too. That's not good if you received two defective Watches, You can still return it and try for a third time. I would contact Apple first and see what they say.

Thanks for the assistance haha. I actually wasn't sure if I should contact them or not but I will. And where on the lower left haha

It just looks like a vertical scratch on the lower right corner (I didn't mean say left).

Still, those vitical lines are odd. Try cleaning it with a cloth.

I don't think a cloth is going to take those lines away. If you look at the display, they are matched perfectly even. It almost looks like it's embedded in the display.

Such a shame. I'd be speaking to a manager and swing a free band for the inconvenience.
I'm doing that Monday because I've also had problems with my beats pill plus and now my watch. It's really frustrating.

How did you go with your watch issue? Was it a fault they replaced with a new watch?

I had my space grey sports watch replaced after being sent away, and one afternoon whilst cleaning my watch I noticed the same lines. To the naked eye they look like tiny dashes that make up the vertical lines.
Cheers

They actually had maybe 10 employees comparing their watches lol and it turns out it’s normal and they believe it’s from the force touch on the watch. I’ve checked all three models of the watch OG AW Series 1 and series 2. All had them. Harder to see on the older ones

Thanks for that! I had thought it was too uniform and all to be a defect. Also the fact that it's in perfect working order other than that.
Hope that your Apple Watch is going well. I can't do without mine at all!
Cheers

14 days warranty? Where I live,Apple stores usually have a one year hardware warranty. Of course, this might be because our consumer laws.
