It does not take much for Apple folks to jump on things. :)

And what about the new iPad? Not one soul in either store early to try to check it out. I heard zero inquires about it.
I'm pretty sure that's because none of the apple store has the updated iPads in store yet. Atleast all Apple store 50 mile radius around me showed "Not available for Pick up". Not sure if they even had them for displays.

It's a mid-cycle new colour... demand was always going to be tiny because most people can't afford two iPhones a year even if they do want the (RED) one, and of the people who didn't upgrade to the 7, a new colour is hardly likely to sway them, especially just six months away from a new model.

That said, in the Apple Store I was in yesterday afternoon, there were dozens being sold. Staff were walking round carrying 10+ iPhones at a time.

Well, it's not really new either, is it? It's a product update. Improved processor, cheaper screen, lower price tag. It's now entry level iPad.

It is new in so far as folks looking into an iPad and not getting one in the past because of the price. It affords a good entry level option and while folks do not necessarily have to buy it day 1 or 2, I was surprised no one was really asking about it.

10+ iPhones ain't happening in my parts, obviously I am not at a store all day but today was the third day in a row I was at one at opening. Apple folks tending to want something usually get to stores early to avoid being shut out. I reiterate, very little if any interest in my parts. I am sure if I checked on istocknow it would show availability in my parts. It stands to reason that most likely anyone wanting a 7 or plus already has one for awhile now.
