I prefer sans-serif fonts too - TBH, the font Scepticalscribe uses in his posts annoys the hell out of me so I don't even read them.

Me too.

I don't see why you would want to deviate from the default font anyways, unless you want your paper to seem longer and use a font that's slightly bigger ;)

What sort of stone did you use in your tablets? I am interested purely as a matter of idle (but fascinating) information gathering, of course.

Hard work, but immensely satisfying, for the scribe………(an alternative career beckons, should I ever tire of my current occupation….)

Thank you!

I've got to admit I'm one of those that just can't stand TNR on a lit screen. It's weird, I use it extensively in written documents but cannot comfortably read it on the screen.

Ah, well. One cannot please all, but one can try - occasionally - to please one's own sense of aesthetics. I just prefer TNR to the default here; each to their own.

To my mind, it is far nicer looking (than the default, which I dislike), easier on my eye, more balanced, and more elegant, but - as I have said - each to their own. Taste is such a personal thing.

Actually, I much prefer Garamond to TNR, but - unfortunately - while it looks very attractive on my own screen, an is extraordinarily legible, it doesn't seem to translate easily to being read on a different screen. A pity.
