I think Indigo is worth a separate thread.
This on an iPhone 14 Pro.
After reading about this new camera app from Adobe I figured it was worth a try. I've used a number of other camera apps but have always come back to the stock Camera because of how simple it is.
tl;dr - After ten minutes of just fiddling with the app (no photos) the phone was very hot to the touch and issued a heat warning. In those ten minutes the battery went from 30% to 1% (no battery warning) and the phone shut down. It takes a lot of energy to generate that much heat.
After just exploring the app for ten minutes I was very impressed. The controls are intuitive and easy to use and easy to find. The 6x (?) zoom on the 14+ was stunning and something I would definitely use.
I've seen, here and elsewhere, people writing about the overheating problem, but this does not seem to be universal. In any event, it will have to be solved before I can make much use of this fascinating app.
