Color is subjective, I prefer the black, but I see plenty of white.

I'm still having trouble deciding whether I should get black/white. The only part that matters to me is the front panel, since I will be using a case. I've owned 2 black iPhone's and no white ones, so I was thinking I might go white this time around but I'm just not sure.

Please offer your advice!

I personally have a black iphone 5s, wife has a white 4. I seem to think the black "ages" better then white, if that makes sense? Everyday wear and tear seems to show more on a white phone.

On a more serious note, I'm not really fond of the new space grey back, it looks so light. :( The only reason why I would choose the black front over the others, is because the bezel is less visible compared to the white/gold versions.

The white looks more pristine and shows less fingerprints. I got sick of the black on my iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. When I got to the iPhone 5, I switched over to the white it was a breath of fresh air. Keeping it white with my iPhone 6 Plus.

Black looks sleek. And its a better combination when I put on a case. The space grey is color is okay but I would have liked to see black and gold :)

My 5 was white, so for 6 I went with black. I kind of regret it. The black is nice and sleek but the white just looks cleaner and nicer. I kind of want to exchange it but that process would take 2-4 weeks at least so I'll probably just stick with black.

White for hipster and metrosexual males, women, kids under 13. Black for manly men, office sleezeballs, used car salesmen and grannies.

I feel like the grannies would go for the white.

white = teenage girls

black = professional adults

Kidding.......... sort of :D

Had only black iPhones since the original. For some reason, I decided to switch it up, and coudn't be happier. The curved edges of the screen into the silver just looks beautiful to me.

I haven't noticed any difference in usage. The white doesn't feel distracting to me like I thought it might, actually looks great with photos and apps.

I have the white 6 plus right now and also have a black 6 plus coming later today (accidentally ordered the wrong one from ATT long story) and I'm torn between which to get.

The way I see it
Black pro:
Front bezel blends with the display
Phone is less noticible
Can match any case
Looks very business like
Cons:
Touch ID doesn't show
Shows scratches a lot more
Fingerprints show more
More common so resale value is a bit lower (if that matters to you)

White pro:
Very noticeable.
Looks very fashionable
Touch ID ring shows and IMHO Makes the phone look very sleek/futuristic
Less likely to show scratches
More noticeable
Gold stands out
Con:
Can see all the sensors
Is very noticeable
Bezel doesn't blend with edges so it's more prominent

My choice would be a black bezel with gold back/gold ID ring.

Had apple made the color of the Touch ID ring the same space gray as the back or sides, id have bought it in a heart beat. The biggest reason I like the white is the ring is very sleek looking.

On launch day I had my mind made up that I was going to get a space gray 128gb iPhone 6. My 4S and 5 were both White, so I figured it was time to change it up. I got home and I don't know why, but the black looked awesome out of the case, but in the case I didn't like it at all. I decided to sell it and then get a white iPhone 6 128gb. Very happy with the white, but wish I could have both :D

Pros/Cons of Black/White iPhone 6

I would get black. Better for watching movies and videos and games. Con is that black is too common and plain. Get white if you want something different and stands out. Con is that if you like watching videos but will get distracted by a white faceplate. But it all depends on what you want.

Since you have not had a white one before, why not give it a try! After several black (or gray) versions I went gold/white and it's a nice change.
If I upgrade I might go back. Or not . . .

I ordered a white iPhone 6 plus initially, but tmo screwed up my order and sent me a black one. White would've still been my first choice honestly, but the black one is very sleek and I'm loving it so far, so it's not a big deal.

Either choice is a good one imo.

I swore I would NEVER get a white iPhone. Loved the black ones I had.

When we upgraded to 5, there was only 1 black and 1 white.

Hubby didn't want white (he was VERY adamant about it). Just to get the process over with, I took the white. And I have to admit, I was wrong!
I fell in LOVE the white within a day of having it!! So much so that when I got my iPad Air I got it in white also!!

The white looks cleaner to me and I've had no discoloration, no distractions when watching movies or Youtube. Definitely don't notice any fingerprints. I ordered my silver plus today! Can't wait to get it.

My previous iPads and iPhone were white and I love the color. I decided to go with space gray for my new phone and love the look for a change. I think I was swayed by Apple showcasing it with the pink flower on the website. I agree the black bezel is better for videos and games, but I use my devices primarily for web browsing and e-mail and white works well. In regard to fingerprints, I really haven't noticed much difference on the black. With a touch screen there are always fingerprints on the screen and since the screen is the greater part of the front I don't think it matters much. I would be happy with either. My black phone in the black case does look awesome.

I always go with black. The darker the better. It frames the display. When was the last time you saw a white framed tv?

Having had both colors in the past I say it doesn't matter. I went with black this time since I had a gold 5S.

Yes this. I loved the black outside of the case it's beautiful and sleek, but when it's in a case (a candy shell specifically), it loses that form factor and it's just a bigger, thinner, iPhone 5. It really comes down to ignoring every other part of the phone but the color of the faceplate
