Isn't it time we had a few more iPhone 6 stories? The forum is a wasteland...

This may be the first iPhone that doesn't need to be charged several times a day. If Samsung can do it with the Note 3, surely Apple can figure it out with their own phablet.

Wow... What does a guy like you do to your poor phones that they need to be charged multiple times a day...?

YES, PLEASE!

I'd be so thrilled if Apple manages to produce an iPhone with a great battery.. please be real.

:apple:

Plenty of info about the 4.7 inch and none for the 5.5.

btw the 4.7 seems HUGE compared to the 5s. Can't imagine the 5.5. And the mockups use the same proportions for the bezels. Doesn't seem right.

It's unapologetically thin — and short on life.

This is getting old...

As the article states, the battery capacity is on par with S5 and M8. I'm willing to bet the 6 will outlast those two devices considering how small the 5S's battery is.

That would be great, but I'll believe it when I see it. I otherwise would have no interest in the larger model, but this would make it very tempting, if it does in fact have a longer battery life as a result.

Voice your opinion on thinness vs battery life here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5L2MR7Q

So far 99% of respondents want the phone to have battery life at least as good as the current model, and over 85% want MORE battery life in the next model. The next time someone tells you you are in the minority for not being pleased as punch with the iPhone battery life, you will know the truth.

4.35V?!

That would put it at 12.4Wh (for Comparison the Galaxy S has 10.8Wh, the Note 3 has 11.8Wh and the iPhone 5s has 5.9Wh)

I agree, there has been a complete lack of leaks and rumors. But how about this rumor: There may be a phone announced at the Mac Mini event on September 9!

Looks like the 5.5 version is happening launch day for the iPhone 6. Just waiting on final contract price....

$399?
$299?
$249?

Seems like $199 will be for the base model of 4.7 iPhone 6.

Would be nice but doubtful. Apple likes their $100 increments and for good reason. Probably more like:

$299
$399
$499

Oh great, so Apple's 5.5" device is now on part with the battery size in competing 5.0" devices? How does the battery size compare with the Note? That would be a better apples to apples comparison.

Jesus, here they come. The s5 is more than 5". The G3 is more than 5". The z2 is more than 5". Spot being pedantic...

"But...but... My plastic s5! Oh noes! what will happen when people just buy all iphone models at an insanely pace? Poor me. I thought I was cool because I see the ads and they say the ****** s5 is good :( "

Short on life, like every other phone out there ?

Yup, Apple could have made a statement with the 4.7" but no, they made it thin... So something no-one really cares about except Jony Ive and some fanboys here vs something real world (battery life) that would make the phone far more desirable. :\

Can not wait for this to be released. This is the iPhone I've been wanting for a long time now. With NFC and a 5.5" screen, it'll be the perfect iPhone.

** update **

More evidence of the 5.5", and also the new Mac mini:
How about that!

Ironic comment for an item not even being made. Didn't you see my leaks? ^^

"That larger display may also arrive at much higher pixel count which would necessitate a larger battery to support it."

Here's where it goes to hell though. The reason MacBook Air has significantly better battery life than retina Macbook Pro. The processing power to drive a higher resolution display.

I wonder if Apple are going to position the 5.5" iPhone 6, as the premium model, with extra features, over the 4.7" iPhone 6. I'm also interested to see the unlocked pricing for the 5.5" in the UK, i always buy them without contract and unlocked in the UK.
