MIC Gadget reports that an "engineering prototype" of a 64GB iPhone is being sold on the grey market in Hong Kong.
According to Unwire.hk, this suspicious 64GB model has started selling in Sin Tak, the greatest grey market in Hong Kong, and the sellers claimed that these are engineered models and available in small quantity.
The back of the units are labeled with "XXGB" (like previous leaked prototypes) but the on screen about screen shows that these are 64GB models.

Apple has never produced a 64GB iPhone 4 model in mass quantities.

I'd be the first to buy a 64GB iPhone.

Or probably second, right behind Mr. Wagoner.

Probably real.

I want one! Or 128 gb!!!

Can't a user install 64gb ssd themselves?

I don't think it surprising at all that Apple has 64gb prototypes floating around. I'm sure that they've been experimenting with them for some time.

Perhaps 64gb is a realistic expectation for iPhone 5/ 4GS/ whatever...

Finally...bring it Apple. I've been waiting since the 3GS.

the iPhone 4 capping at 32 was a huge disappointment for me. It was my only qualm about buying one as i was already fighting for free space on my 3Gs and these apps just keep getting bigger especially with the retina display

The 16 should be replaced by the 32 and the 32 by the 64 :p

It wouldn't surprise me, if they upped the price of a 64, keeping the 32 and 16 at the same price, if they have a 64 in the next model.

I doubt Apple would do that. It would most definitely surprise me.

Yey and nay.

I'd love the extra 32GB; I've nearly filled my iTouch 32GB.

But, no bigger screen - but, then again, this could've been ment for the iPhone 4, and was too expensive at the time.

If I were a millionaire, I would totally buy one of these and mod it into a 64GB white iPhone 4.

We may find out, ipods increase in price as they increase in storage.

It would be nice if they decided to make the iPhone 5 64GB, my iPhone 4 is pretty much constantly full.

Maybe a better plan this summer is to make the iPhone 4 16GB for $99 and the iPhone 5 32GB and 64GB at the usual prices.
