again were only testing a small part in home right now they are saying theres going to be alot more once the open beta rolls out.

I don't know much about Home other than the little bits and pieces I have read about it...but am I wrong to make the assumption is will be like a 3D Myspace? If so, I imagine Sony is going after an entirely different market of people rather than us game players.

Just a thought...

its basicly a way interactive way if you want to meet psn users that have the same intrest in games with you to find those people chat and stuff and in the future Play your favorite onine games direclty from Home Right now Warhawk is the only game were you can meet up with people and launch it directly and start playing its pretty cool

I got put in the Home Beta and I think it is terrible. What's the deal with having to wait in line to do things like bowl, play chess, or play small arcade games? Note to Sony: Virtual Waiting-in-line is not fun!

Yeah i bought the new qore episode, and since my internet was down the next day, I could finish the dowload for a long time.

And then before I have even finished downloading it, my brother has gotten an email the day before saying he made it in. Come on! I payed for qore to get the darn beta, and now here is my brother, just sittin' there on his iPod touch, saying, "Holy crap".

I just got invited to the Euro home beta.... :)

Edit... ok downloaded main app.

Everything takes forever to load, character customization is minimal at this stage (i predict a world of identikit looking people) and there is next to bugger all to decorate your apartment with so far.....

Hopefully things speed up once they've downloaded, but it does make me wonder why on earth Sony have decided to distribute the application as a 70mb initial download, followed by a 21mb update and then basically a massive download everytime you move to a new area. Even changing your character at the start becomes a protracted wait for loading, and it sets a bad impression.

Personally I'd be much happier if Sony simply said OK folks, HOME is a 1GB download and made me wait for it. At least that way the user experience whilst using it wouldn't be hampered so blatantly as it is at the moment.

Overall, Home doesn't disappoint because I never expected it to blow me over, and it really doesn't. I know its a beta, but a beta of something that is in its final furlong and so it leaves me feeling meh! at this stage.

EXACTLY!!

Looks like they finally decided to give me my Qore beta key. Good thing I wasn't stupid enough to buy Qore for Home, cause Home should be coming in 10 days.
