Whether or not it has an impact on sleep, it is definitely more comfortable on my eyes to have a warmer display later at night.

Took 3 tries but it started working on my Series 9. Previously said “I can’t help you with that on Apple Watch”

Yeah I figured out I could do this on my Series 6 (steel lte if it made any difference), as mentioned it says I can set a schedule in settings but nothing is there about it. Very odd, it seems like a feature they tested and then pulled out for some reason but forgot to remove the Siri prompt for it. And it does yellow the screen, for some people asking if it just controlled the iPhone screen, no it actually works on the Watch.

It's weird that the same company has a product like the Watch that's well behind iPhone's sleep feature, like if it's charging in nightstand mode and you move an atom in the bedroom why does it flashbang you in bright green light? The iPhone doesn't do this, it comes up dimly and night shifted when you tap it. Night Shift would be a help here if it was scheduled.

Not working on my Series 7 on watchOS 10. Maybe it’s a language/region locked thing?
Where are you from? What language do you use? It works in Germany in English for me.

Well I can feel considerably less eye strain when using Night Shift. It might not, according to some studies, improve sleep. But it does reduce eye strain at least for me and that makes it a worth while feature.

Unrelated fun fact.
In the shortcuts app, the AOD setting is available for iPhone AND iPod touch.
And since the introduction of the iPhone 15 Pro, the Ring Switch setting isn’t working on any other iPhone anymore…
