These studies are incredibly limited and for some odd reason seem to not grasp exactly what has us looking at screens deep into the night, overriding our innate urge to sleep:"Gazing at a screen that emits “blue light” before bed doesn’t seem to have a significant effect on sleep, scientists have said after reviewing the evidence."

Staring at a phone before bed doesn’t interfere with your sleep
According to a new review of 11 studies conducted across the world there is no evidence that screen light in the hour before bed makes it harder to fall asleepwww.thetimes.com
Yes, the specific color/hue of any light source is probably a negligible factor in the big picture.
But we are instinctually programmed to experience increased alertness if the light hitting our eyes is sufficiently bright (which is also the reason why our eye-lids are designed to not block 100% of all light despite being closed).
Really, most of our senses are designed to ramp up and make our brains alert and awake if our surroundings call for it even if melatonin levels are full and telling us to sleep.
Throughout all of man's existence, even as primates, bright light and loud sounds have required increased alertness, waking up from deep sleep, if necessary. We dynamically adapt to what is required in the moment. That's how you survive.
Then there's life today with the content on the screens which is all designed and perpetually adapted to make us feel FOMO, aka fear, which again triggers innate survival mechanisms, making you more alert, keeping you awake.
It's not blue light but a combination of light, sounds, and social/psychological factors that has your smartphone destroying your sleep.
Saying that staring at screens has "minimal" impact on sleep just because the color of the light doesn't make a difference is highly misleading.
