k the psp is at the bottom there is not more games and if there is they all suck.

Maybe... but then the PSP's ability to stream content is pretty nice! Then Ive never owned (but used a friend's) DS.

After all this, Sony does seem to have a less than average service and support!

What I don't like about Sony's service is that Nintendo offer a free, replacement DS Lite if you have a cracked hinge or a dead pixel. Any minor problem that's within warranty gets you a new DS. Buying a PSP was such a risk... I do not want dead pixels. I don't have them anywhere and to pay £130 for a machine which had a high chance of having dead pixels without replacement warranty was absurd. They really should match Nintendo's policy and the moment Nintendo drops theirs I will be p***ed.

^ And yea the DS has more games. Shame I've played them all to death

Sony has replaced my PSP with no questions asked (cept whats the issue), likewise I've had no issues with Nintendo when my hinge cracked... 3 times... in 2 months...

Get a ds! You can web browse on it and use it as a computer if you get a special gamecard. homebrew ftw!

You can browse the web, use skype, and use a PSP "as a computer" a whole hell of a lot more than the DS. It's native, no special card needed. There is also homebrew if you feel like screwing with it. Feature wise the PSP blows the DS out of the water, game wise its all subjective.

I just have to disagree with the more games part thats complete bs it has barley any new games come out and if they did there really crappy since ive played all the good ones, like i said i have a hacked psp annd can get all the games and such they just completely suck.

IMO yes the PSP has fewer "good games", but I really do love Monster Hunter, Burnout and (with a love/hate relationship) LocoRoco too.

The PSP's extra features are pretty good actually. The internet browser is utter cack, even though the DS version is only minutely better (faster to navigate); both are worthless IMO. I use the internet radio feature on it a hell of a lot too since I work between 3 computers and dual boot on one of them - it's nice to have a consistent music player with okay-quality built in speakers.
I'd like it a lot more if it had used standardised media. SD cards on that thing would be brilliant and would make the whole Images feature on the PSP actually useful. Here's hoping the PSP2 has an SD slot!

I have both and would definitely pick ds in terms of playability and ejoyment, hopefully they'll revamp the d-pad on the next version as its not a true arcade dpad and limits diagonal movement
