I want one, but it not being able to play my current games makes it so hard to justify. I'm looking into a 3000(or 4000 is if comes)

I like the idea of tether support and Dualshock 3 support

Again about pricing, yes it's true that PSP games cost more to make. But having a really high price like $40 won't make people buy the games on impulse, against say an iPhone game for $5.

Also App Store has way more demos of games (lite versions) than the PSP store. PSP should have way more demos available, not just for major games.

I hear whinning about the PSPGO. I think that it is waaaaaaaayyyy easier to play madden on my pspgo than on the iphone.
The complaining is coming from the Go being a more expensive PSP with less features than it's other versions. Nothing to do with the iPhone.

Some retailers say it will fail. This model is a little bit expensive. I'd rather buy a PSP 3000 bundle.

I won't buy one cause its pricey and I can't play any of the other PSP games I already own.

Got one.

Rather like it to be honest, The screen is gorgeous, really and truly - better colour range, sharp and whilst smaller than the original screen I don't give a damn. Overall, the PSPgo is the same "size" as a DS Lite, which is a big boon as the old PSP-1000/2000s that we have at home are a bit bulky to be in a bag constantly.

I've got a bit of content on there (FF VII, Theme Park, SimCity 2000 7 PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe, Patapon 2) whilst I wait for my copy of GT and three free games to come through from Sony. I do have a bunch of UMDs, but the other half's PSP-2000 will work on the occasion I want to play them.

I know what you are saying ... but personally I have a PSP-3000 and find I have no desire to touch it anymore ... which kills me making impulse UMD buys, which means my PSP game buying will drop by ~75% (and I have played and reviewed >200 PSP games almost all bought with my own $).

Picked one up today :D Beautiful little things, feel so much better than Normal PSPs.

Just waiting for my codes for GT PSP and 3 Free Games now.

I continue to be in love with mine. I LOVE the Buzz quiz master game. I am contemplating whether to download Fifa 10. Anyone played it? I've already played this PSP more in a week than my PSP 1000 in a year!

I folded, bought one last night...its wonderful. Very very nice device, I'm a bit scared the slider will wear out, but for now, its good. I traded some UMDs, I didn't have to many, I also tried to trade in a PSP 1000, but it was a PAL device, so they wouldn't take it. A bummer, but I'll put it up on ebay.

Ignore the downsides to it, I'm a big big fan so far...my PSP gaming is very much up!

I am finding that my PSP game purchases have plummeted - already I have had 100% of the purchases I wanted to make since launch impossible since they came out on UMD and *not* on PSN.

New motto: "Want the latest and greatest in PSP gaming? Get last year's model!"

Ignore the downsides to it,.....

You have a bigger wallet than me :p

Seriously game prices have to come down on PSN significantly for me to buy. No matter how impulsive I am, I can't justify €39.99 on PSN as opposed to €21-27.99 for the same games on online game retailers.

Sony should be selling games directly for the cost they would supply the same game to a retailer. We should not be paying a retailers profit for a service where we are doing all the work (our ISP's, our bandwith, our storage).

Does anyone have a White Go? That's what I'm getting. How does it look.
(I have a white star wars PSP 2000)

I have noticed the lack of games, like Half Minute Hero, being on PSN. But I think eventually they all will. Half Minute Hero comes out this Thursday, just over a week after the UMD release. But just wondering, what games did you want?

Unfortunately I can't, as I'd be left with a shelf full of UMD games and my importing ways will come to an end.

I'm loving my PSP Go so far, it just came today. I got Daxter on PSN today, and also have a few other PSN games on it.

Oh, and I think now all new games will be out on PSN. Some might come out late (like Half Minute Hero), but it looks like they will even add games to the PSN store on Tuesdays now! GTA Chinatown Wars just went up today.

GTA Chinatown Wars just went up today.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with that - it isn't even in my local stores on UMD yet! I went into MediaGo yesterday afternoon and saw it there and bought it and it downloaded and installed while charging the Go over USB, then I was playing last night. When it works it is nice. Half-Minute Hero, Star Wars Republic Heroes, and so on not being available ... not so great.

The Clone Wars looks kind of lame... But Half Minute Hero comes out tomorrow!

I really hope that by the end of the year, all new PSP games come out on the PSN store the same day as release date. That's great! I really hope that the games I want next month (Assassin's Creed, LBP, Star Wars Elite Squadron, Jak & Daxter) come out on the right day, and not a week later, or the Thursday later.

I'm really tempted to buy GTA, but I already put many MANY hours into that game on my DSi.

I was considering getting one, but when I look at the price, for 50 more bucks I can get a PS3. I'm all about portability, but I have to admit that if I put down that kind of money, I think I may just go with the big sister...

yet no body has issues buying an ipod for 250 lol

It is relative value - folks weren't complaining about $250 for the PSP 'value pack' at launch ... heck I didn't even balk for a second. But to get a bare bones PSP Go with *nothing* extra, at $50 more than a PSP-3000 bundle with *loads* of extras, and nothing from Sony in terms of UMD-library transitions, and PSN prices at or higher than UMD ... it is just a money grab.

When you buy an iPod you don't have to buy further things to make it work as well as the previous one. If I bought a £200 iPod today that's all I'd need to spend to be able to watch all my movies, TV shows and listen to all my music. Seeing that I own no downloaded games and a mountain of UMDs I'd have to further spend money on a Go.
All it needed was a UMD transfer thing.
