Public Transportation Integration Coming To iPhone Google Maps?

Actually, my first thought was he was either just starting puberty or stuck there. It would fit Google's hiring practices: only the brightest and the youngest to keep the ideas fresh! 😛

I'm so pissed at Toronto for not submitting their data to Google Transit. And now the TTC is coming out with their own trip planner which is going to be ridiculously bush-league, especially for the third largest public transit system in North America
This thread just saved me about $1,200 a year! 😀
The public transit system here in the Dallas, TX area is so complex and convoluted I could never figure it out. When I saw this thread and learned about the Public Transit option in Google Maps I did a quick check and found that there is an easy way to and from work. In the morning and evening I only have to walk about 10 minutes to and from the bus stop (makes for a nice daily walk).
When I did the math I found that I will save $100 a month in gas and parking by taking the bus. 😎
