Alright people, i already did it. After so much thorough thought I have bought online an iPad Pro space grey 128 gb. It was this or wait for the iPad Air 3, but I finally decided to go Pro. The steep price held me on the fence during the last days. It is gonna replace my iPad Air 16 gb.

I am no content creator, just average user. I want it for reading, taking notes, drawing schemes, watching videos, email.. That kind of stuff. I would like to get a case, but I have no idea which one, Smart Cover looks good but too expensive I want some thing alike but from a 3rd party, to cover back and front.

I just wanted to share this with you. I hope it comes alright and doesn't have any problems.

Did you get it for the Staples $799 price?

You should probably cancel your order and get it from Staples instead, if you're in the U.S. of course. No reason to pay full price when you can get a $100-$150 discount, which can go towards AppleCare+.
This! I caved this week when I saw Staples offering $150 off. I picked up a Silver 128GB and AppleCare. I'm hoping someone decides to discount the LTE model within my return policy so I can exchange it.

You can get a knomo case which covers they font and back £16.99 in the UK they are not bad. I tried the apple covers on Saturday and liked the feel and grip so I went ahead and got the the apple smart case and cover plus I had a £40 pound gift card left form my last birthday.

Congratulations I am still appreciating the screen size for watching content and loving the speakers.

I will wait for the refurbished models to arrive.

I'm still contemplating whether to get an iPad Air 3 or a Pro but if I get the latter it will definitely be refurbished. Discounting on current Apple products doesn't really happen here in the UK so the only way to save money is with the refurbished models or by using student discount.

All you can do is try it out and see if you like it enough to keep it. I hope it works for you. The screen resolution is incredible.

You won't regret it. I was on the fence about punching it too, when I went to the Apple Store I messed around with for at least an hour before I pulled the trigger. I'm love it now and glad I did. Now I'm trying to decide if I want the keyboard or just keep using the Logitech Keys to Go.

I lasted about two weeks with the Keys to Go keyboard (which is a fantastic tool) and then became fully assimilated with the Apple Smart Keyboard and silicone case. The Apple Smart Keyboard just makes the iPP a more convenient tool for writing and it's one of my favorite keyboards ever.

Fantastic. I just bought one yesterday myself. I want to use it as a math notebook, and a presentation tool for the class I teach. I've had it for less than a day, but so far I'm impressed with it.

I am in need of an upgrade to my iPad Air 1 and am debating the Air 3 or an iPad Pro. I have to admit those sales are really tempting, but I will hold off until I see what the Air 3 has in it. If it doesn't support a pencil, I'll get a Pro. If it does, I'll have to look long and hard at this.

Congrats on the purchase! Always fun to get a new toy.

Just got my iPad Pro.....yay
Does anyone know what the space/Planets app is from the commercial?

I have to be honest that was one of the things that caught my attention.

Congrats with your nice iPad Pro!!
I'm really using my iPP so much more than I expected. I've got the Pencil and smart keyboard as well and it's a delight to use it. I've got a MBP+Thunderbolt Display as well, but the iPP is my on-the-go computer as it's lighter, has LTE built in, excellent battery life, superb screen, excellent sound and I can use it as an expensive notepad with the pencil. I really like that!

I returned my IPP after a few days (the Staples sale inspired me to try it). It's a very, very good machine -- the screen is amazing and it's very fast.

However the main niche my air 2 fits is the portability. Business travel, personal travel, taking photos, etc., I always throw the air in my backpack where ever I'm going. And I actually do a lot of work with it.

The IPP is just big enough that it becomes awkrad to use in many mobile situations.

If my economics were such that I could keep both i probably would have. But right now there are other areas of my live that money could go to.

Oh...I don't do any work that would be easier using the pencil. That would have factored in heavily in my decision.

Hope you enjoy yours. I'm sure I'll give it another shot one of these days.

If the Air 3 has the same quality screen that might be worth it for me to upgrade.
