Agreed, no changes needed. Always looking for more news, but not necessarily less important news. When something hits page 1, it is usually somewhat significant.

However, on another note, ever consider a page/tab for separating the rumors from the releases. I know all releases need to hit page 1 to get noticed, but you could have a historical page of each Apple release/change/new store options/major Apple front page change. Kind of a chronology of what they've actually done, product wise.

The stories are already split onto different pages, but I guess you could colour-code the front page stories in terms of how significant they are, or how likely they are to be true... It might make it easier for the casual glance to catch up on what's happening whilst still skipping the crap.

Analysts are Page 2 Material

I would like to see less on the front page, especially with regard to analyst predictions. A quick glance at the guides shows that they are generally wrong (or their predictions are marked "status: unknown"). Why are they being treated as more credible than other rumour sources?

I read page 2 regularly, but I would prefer if page 1 weren't cluttered up with these non-stories.

I second that, very much agreed. Often times analysts regurgitate old news anyway. It seems that of late there has been a fair amount of page 1 news and honestly some of it could be page 2 material.

i like less stories that are more significant on the front page. perhaps use Page 2 for more less-important stories.

I think just a few more, sorry to mention a competitor, but Apple Insider updates about the right number of times, I like to check AI and, of course, MacRumors for the big stories then I check out sites like TUAW.

Works fine as is. We have page 2 and MacBytes if we need more. And the spy thingy.

My thoughts exactly. MacBytes usually has less important items, while the main page has the biggest stories. I think the update rate is great as it is.
