Well I usually don't require these workshops as they're too basic for my taste. I told them about the need for more advanced level workshops, but they said they prefer to give them to beginners because they thought "there wouldn't be enough interested customers". I replied they will never know as they wouldn't try. That day I understood that Apple was much more interested in recruiting new customers rather than consolidate the existing base.

But that time, I experienced a noticeable slowdown in my workflow and the inability to use my scanner since Lion cut Rosetta out and the ergonomics changed significantly.

Many Broadcom and RealTek, while not as good as Intel's, still do have Linux drivers. Otherwise the changes pointed by MagicBoy are just showing we're getting less and less for our dollar. Apple is not excluded, sadly.
