These titles - based on the names given to (historic) Mac processors - are used to denote how many posts a member, a poster, actually has at a particular time (now).

Not only do they change as the number of posts made by a forum member increases, but the gap between different "ranks", or titles, - in other words, the number of posts needed to reach the next "rank", or title, - also increases as, or if, one continues to make posts.

The thread linked by @BigMcGuire explains it in greater detail.

Do you think that the specific designations need modernisation, or that more actual titles ought to be added?
I could be convinced either way, adding apple silicon, or completely changing it.

How many apple fans in 2025, know what a 6502 or a 68000 are?

On the flip side, I have the most posts as anyone at the moment, and my designation is Haswell - an intel processor from 2013. Given the fact that Intel may not even be around in a few years and Apple has been on their own silicon for 5 years, it seems that maybe something completely different could be imagined and implemented.
