Simultaneous Voice & Data means just that. Simultaneous Voice & Data. Just make sure you're on 3G and you won't have a problem.

Not GSM, much rather GSM flavored WCDMA-UMTS and HSPA protocols. Remember, old TDMA based GSM can't do surf+talk.
