I'm the opposite. I've had two iPad with Wifi only. This time I decided to get 4G to have a ubiquitous connection, plus, I plan on keeping this one for two years.

I feel that the iPad technology has got to a point where I feel okay upgrading every other year now.

Kinda confused with a bit of contradiction there. You planned to keep it for two years, hence you get the 4G (with contract, I assume) .. Yet you feel okay to upgrade iPad ever year and then. So .. How long you're planning to keep it? 😀
