Hello, I have a 3,1 Mac Pro and as I understand from this thread, the GTX 680/770/780 should work for my machine and are Mojave compatible. My question is: do I need an official Mac card or a flashed card to get Mojave compatibility? I don't care about the boot screen, if I get one of those unflashed will I get the same performance, Mojave compatibility, etc? Thank you

You won't need a card with pre-boot configuration support to work with MP3,1 and Mojave, all Kepler cards that are supported will work (640GT, GTX 670, GTX 680, GT 740, GTX 770, GTX780) without flashing.

Pre-boot configuration support makes your life easier when installing in an unsupported Mac. Just get one GTX 680 that people already tested for compatibility with the eVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition ROM and flash yourself, your life will be a lot easier with MP3,1. Please note that some manufacturers use different output port layout and some outputs don't work.
