Questionable Next-Generation iPhone Rear Shell Images Surface

And saying that, I feel the plastic cover has design faults which Apple are surely going to try and iron out.
Who has a 3G or 3GS which has cracks/ed on the bottom where the plug goes in? A huge flaw... Big enough of a flaw for me to know people who have walked into the Apple store and Apple just exchanged it for a new one...
The iPad has a black strip if you hadn't noticed, much like the original iPhone.

I agree, although I like the design (I like metal things, the 3G and 3GS didn't appeal to me as it was plastic and that looks cheap to me - or maybe I'm a magpie and like shiny things

Yeah, it looks just like a mini version of the 3G iPad. If it's going to be an aluminum design, I want that one.
Me too. I resisted the 3G and 3GS, would love it if the 4G will be aluminum like my old original iPhone.
Agree its a fake.. but its also my prediction of what the new phone would look like.. however its missing the black plastic peice as seen in the 3G iPad..

This new one is clearly different, I'm leaning towards real. It looks like a little iPad.

That's what I thought. Maxwell maybe. It produces that grainy look.
The plastic apple, plus using the new MBP strategy of putting antennas at the openings should do fine.
Looks *just* like the iPad - well except the bevels leading from the corners to the back look a little unrefined, leading me to think it could be a rendering. other than that, looks pretty spot-on. Personally, I think they are going back to Alu.
That's even closer.

Yes, but his analysis shed no light on that fact and actually made the rendering - if you were to assume his perspective was correct - look lit it was some sort of parallelogram. It made no sense.
Those photos look so fake. I really don't think Apple is going to hard edges on the rear of the iPhone case.
The iPod touch is a different beast. The second generation has a nicer feel around the screen, but the smooth rounded back makes it harder to hold. Fortunately there are some really good cases out there to rectify the situation.

I'm the autor of these pictures. I've made this with 3dsmax and Vray render. Photoshop has been just use to create the noise and resize the pictures.
For the perspective problem on the third pics, it's just a lens distortion of my camera.
Stop search, it's just a 3D render exercise.
I'm happy to see that my work unleashed passions but it's A FAKE.

Hey I would buy this one. It look way better then the shell they have posted..
I was all for having an aluminum design, but not if it looks like that. That thing is just ugly. I like this concept the most, just without the circle around the Apple logo, and none of those ugly colors like the pink, blue, green, etc.
