Oh really?
First things first.Your conversation is about back doors in imessage. You deflected the conversation, and included some fallacious argument, that somehow the number of requests the government made is in opposition to what apple mgmt has stated in the past. Bit of a (black) hole between the assumption and conclusion.

Now about that chart, seems about right with the totality of customers on IOS. But you aren't advocating that apple ignore a valid legal request from the government? Are you?

I hope this is better than Google Hangouts. I had to use that for a group that was "meeting" for a while, and it was just awful. Main issue was the lack of audio duplexing, so it was very hard to get any conversational flow or back-and-forth going at all. The thing I love most about FaceTime (at least the audio version) is that both parties can hear each other talk in real time -- there's no "you're basically muted while the other person is talking" effect. That's pretty huge for conversation flow.

Group Facetime sounds like an amazing way to burn through cell data plans.
Would group facetime necessarily consume any more bandwidth, though? Assuming the video is all merged into a single stream, it seems like the net bandwidth might just be the same.

Looking forward to see how much data this uses.... The app House Party allows for a group video chat up to 6 people and uses crazy amounts of data.

What I want to see in iOS 11 is that apple rework their e-mail app so it is easier to delete, and categorise e-mails. And a face lift. Secondly work on iCloud. It just sucks. They need to make it like a m actual cloud hard drive that you have full access to and can manage back ups, files and media. It should also mirror the size of your iPhone or iPad. For example if your iPad or iPhone is 128 GB then you should have a 128GB iCloud account. Sounds fair to me. If they could do this along with other improvements, it would be significant.
