Quick question for the experts (iPhone upgrade)

apple is holding the conference int he week of the 12th i believe

and at&t is moving people's upgrades to the 21st

and today is the 16th, so its 1 month, you can wait 1 month to save $100 or get a phone with new features

Actually, WWDC is the week of the 7th. Last year the iPhone was released on the Friday 10 days after the Keynote.

June 18th is the Friday 11 days after the beginning of WWDC so it is most likely the launch date. This also jives with rumors that AT&T employees can't take vacations in June. So we're looking at a month.

But what if I end up not liking the new one and wish I had bought the older model? I don't like how the new one has raised plastic covers on both sides. I like the inset glass on the current model. Plus, I'm using a free verizon samsung flip phone currently, so obviously the iPhone 3GS is a huge upgrade in its own right.

There is no 'week of the the 12th' in June this year. You have Sun the 6th and Sun the 13th. WWDC starts June 7.

Today is the 15th.
