You guys can edit the pink icon easily without winterboard. I even changed the same from bitesms to Messages.

Here is what you do:

SSH into your phone.

1) Go to /private/var/stash/Applications/MobileSMS.app

2) find icon@2x.png and copy that.

3) Go to /private/var/stash/Applications/bitesms.app

4) paste icon@2x.png that you copied there.

Note: 2x is for retina display. if you have a 3g copy icon.png. you can do this for all icons, even the lockscreen bitesms icon, and the paste bitesms icon.

would it be possible for me to change the bitesms icon into the message icon from G.O.C. pro? I love the G.O.C. pro dock and therefore I can't have bitesms on my dock.

how to delay a message? its in the settings of bitesms. go into bitesms go to settings, then find under subsection "Features" find delay sending.

Also to schedule a message, i go into the app itself, type the message, and instead of send I press that "+" on the left, it brings up a menu, where you can use smiles and stuff, there is also an option to use that looks like a watch, it allows you to schedule.

Ok and your point? Try 1.5s thats what I set it as. If you need more than 3 seconds to make up your mind if you should stop sending and edit your message, then you have a problem, IN YOUR HEAD :p

LOL just kidding man, 3 seconds is all you need to stop a message though. Delaying it will make you wait 3 seconds while giving you the option to stop it, then after 3 seconds, it sends the message. Its not the same as scheduling to send a text message hours/days later. To schedule a message, you write it inside the app as normal, then go on the "+" button, in there you will see some tabs, one of them looks like a clock, click it and you can schedule in there.

Ohh ok I misunderstood it :p I thought delayed text was like if I reply to a text I could get it sent like 5 or 10mins later its not good to reply straight away to the girls it's good to make em wait lool :p

Lol yea I hear you, gotta keep it cool. Anyways use scheduling for that. I sadly see that the only way to schedule is inside the app itself. You can set up delaying on setting and when inside or outside the app, it will delay each message by x seconds and you can stop it. Scheduling seems to be only possible inside the app itself when you are sending messages normally.

Lol you can change it to a naked girl icon if you like man. Just go into the where that G.O.C pro dock is saved, find the icon by editing it in a photo viewer and seeing which one is the messgaing icon, then put it into bitesms, name it icon@2x.png or whatever.

Well I'm giving biteSMS a trial run just for the heck of it.

Here's a biteSMS icon from the iPhone HD theme by Susumu. It's from this thread over at macthemes.

The icon's color in the link above is still not to my liking so I changed it in PS with the hue adjustment slider. It's the only icon from that theme on my phone. I SSH'd it over and it blends in well with the stock icons. That whole theme is really close similar to stock but with a few nicer details here and there.

I did that. it was called something like 1messages. I took it, copied it over to bitesms and renamed it icon.png. I even renamed the original icon.png file in bite sms to icon1.png. I thought that would do the trick.
 
if someone sends multiple texts, is it possible to view them without having to launch the app or unlocking the phone?
