I bought it. It's nothing very useful. A bug immediately shows up the first time you fire it up. You MUST restart your iPhone to get rid of the bug, but it will drive you nuts at first.

Ho Hum.

Too bad there's no such thing as a used market for lousy apps.

What would be nice would be that ability for the developer to support the application by offering an update to users who have paid for the app. Now that its been pulled, there is no means for them to do so.

Time to move this app to cydia?

can't the developer just move this to cydia, where apple will have no reign over them? i mean they might lose money due to the smaller amount of buyers, but still, there is a way to be able to use this app again!:D

Since I can only use my left hand, using the camera on the iPhone is very tricky... constantly get camera shake. Being able to use the volume button as a shutter would be extremely useful.

How are you holding the phone when you take a picture? You can rotate it in any direction. I just tested it and I can hold it in my left hand using the thumb on my left hand to touch the camera button with ease. The interface rotates to whichever way you are holding it.

When you're taking video, the iPhone has to be used in a certain orientation, also pressing the screen button using only one hand causes camera shake. Do you honestly think I haven't experimented with this?

Now I honestly KNOW that you haven't experimented with this. I just took video with the phone from both orientations, volume buttons facing down and then volume buttons facing up. The video came out perfectly both times and it was oriented with up being whatever I saw on the screen while recording. I also took pictures while holding the phone with my left hand and the camera button on the left hand side of the screen and did not see ANY evidence of shake.

So, I've come to two conclusions:

  1. Something else is causing you to see shake.
  2. You have NOT experimented with recording video while holding the phone at different orientations because it is capable of recording video from any of the four possible orientations.
