I recently decided I needed less middle aged white males whinging in my life so I unsubscribed to ATP.When does Marco Arment not complain? ATP is barely listenable as all they do is spend 2 hours whining and complaining about things. I remember a year or two ago Casey Liss said their New Years resolution was to be less negative (based on listener feedback). Not sure how long that lasted. Every recent show I’ve listened to was whine, moan and complain.
That would be a huge plus for sure.I find it immensely irritating that the Apple Watch 3 — for which we pay a premium price, and then a further premium for a data plan — still has no decent podcasting app. It's almost like this is a deliberate policy.

My experience at four way stops is that a lot of drivers don't wait their turn and will cut off the person who has right of way.I can’t help but wonder what the self-driving experience will be like at a four-way stop where you’re engaged in a “you go ahead; oh me first? Oh, wait, you’re going now—but you’ve stopped again; I’ll wait; are you gonna go or am I?” scenario.
What apps that you want are not available for the apple watch? Just about all the apps I care about banking, podcast, fitness etc. are available on my Android watch so I imagine they're on the AW.
With Marco's comment about watch development, that may explain why there aren't a lot of watch apps. I hope that changes (for the better) soon.
Agreed. Except for the 2:30 mark in the Waymo video. Turning right in the first lane alongside another car is a horrible practice. I see it far too often and although the Waymo car is ever so slightly behind the other car, it still proceeded into the lane before the other car passed. I disagree with this move from a safety standpoint. You never know what that other car is going to do.

It isn't as long as Apple doesn't admit a NewtonOS emulator to the AppStore ...

To each their own. If you want to hear “Apple is amazing” or if you want to hear excuses made for Apple when something doesn’t work well, listen to the iMore podcast. I have a negative reaction to iMore like you do to ATP. I thoroughly enjoy ATP because they don’t kiss Apple’s ass.
It’s not to get users on Android. It’s to improve the App situation on Android, which lags iOS significantly. They have the numbers, not the quality. Especially on tablets where Android is a joke.
Jailbreaking is so pointless.
If users don't see an app difference between iOS and Android it would be easier to move to an Android device. Google doesn't want a duopoly. A monopoly is the goal.

Yeah, no kidding! I still carry my old iPhone 5s around with me because it is jailbroken and can thus run a bunch of software I find extremely useful - such as a true WiFi diagnostic tool that I use when building WiFi networks, a function that for some reason Apple thinks is, I'm guessing, too technical for their users (oh, what a dim view of their own customers Apple must have).
I was actually going to move to Android last time around (didn't really want to, just felt I was being forced to) since I want to do things Apple simply won't allow, or at least won't allow properly, but I was unable to easily find a single Android phone that was both small enough (I currently have the se) for me - they all seem to have gone phablet sized, and running a reasonably up-to-date OS.
I would certainly *love* seeing iOS jailbroken again.
I find safari fine but they need to completely overhaul mail.As usual, Apple is it's own worst enemy.

The only benefit to me is ad blocking. But at this point I just do that on DNS.
Safari is a garbage for web browsing on iOS. Any app can take control of it, place popups, js messages, it's awful.
