My friend just got a copy of quicktime 6 and installed it. Unfortunately, his quicktime 5 pro key does not turn Q6 into the pro version. I guess this means all Q5pro users will have to buy another key. Does anybody else thinks this sucks, or is it just me?

One note:

We just watched the clone war trailer on Q6 and the sound is a lot better. we heard a lot more little sounds than we did with Q5. It was comparable with what you hear in the theater. PRETTY COOL!. we also have the imac hooked to the same stereo as before

Yeah... this is probably the case...

Frank Casanova indicated it would be a pay upgrade.

Hmm... like heck if I'm shelling out another $30 for another Pro key...

Maybe I'll rethink that when I buy a G5 two years from now. :p ;)
