Hello everyone. I will purchase the new MacBook Pro 2016 with the 2.6 processor and 512 ssd. I sort know if I should go for the 450 or the 460 though.

I will video edit 4k daily on fcpx or almost daily and I will do wordpress and probably some graphic design in the immediate future.

Logicaslly I should go for the 460.

But the question is if it overheates more than the 450 and if that affects the
  • battery life
  • the fan noise
  • and if it throttles
Becuase if it affects the fan, the battery and it throttles then I would be better off with the 450.

What does everyone think. What do the reports say and what are your personal experiences.

Thanks everyone.

So do we know if 460 is worse in battery life, fan noise, heat than the 450?
I ordered both 460 and 455, so I am not sure if this applies to 450 as well, from my experience, I do lots of lightroom, photoshop, and slightly finalcut, and some 4K editing for videos from DJI drone, I think the fan wasn't really a problem, I heard fan noise some time after couple hours of editing, but most of the times it is fine, and I force to use the dedicated graphics at all time.

Regarding battery life, 460 and 455 are about the same, gives me 6 hr or so for heavy editings, so I assume 450 can have a longer battery life as it requires less power draw.
