Just imagine, in a couple weeks of use - you will be able to PHONE HOME without a phone! :D

Ok, that's it! This has got to be reply of the year!

When I hold the phone in my hand, I get a hard on.

I'm not complaining. Best $299 I've spent in a long time

Here is a few other suggestions....

1. Its the magic left over from the iPad release.
2. You left it in vibrate mode, and received another call.
3. You were actually holding a 9 volt battery with wet hands.

You've got to be kidding me. Will the madness ever end.

Jobs says, "you're holding it wrong!"

Nothing to bad

Are those photoshopped sausages? They look delicious!

I get it too! Only in the opposite hand of the one holding the phone.

I also find that whenever I see another person using an iPhone in public, my teeth start to move around in my mouth and my spleen begins to sing Carmen.

Hey all,

Anyone one else experience this? Using the phone for like 20mins. My thumb and fingers touching the metal band. My finger are felling some what tingling. I can kinda feel the phone broadcasting.

The phone is great for everything else. But is this a concern? Direct contact with the antenna which is broadcasting EM energy at high frequencies. Conducted straight into the fingers.

It might not be a lot of energy but your DNA/cell components are not very big and I bet compared to energy vs size the power is pretty decent.

Before people say other phones are like this. You don't directly touch the metal antenna. Old cell phones were covered in plastic. And EM energy dissipates exponentially with distance.

Yep I have experienced the same issue. It does not occur on the Iphone 3 or 3GS, but I do feel it on the iPhone 4.

I think I know what you mean and in all honesty it is true. It's sort of like when you rub your feet on the carpet a little and touch a doorknob or another person. Only people with sensitive fingers will be able to feel it and its not like it will shock the crap out of you and take you to the hospital.

I've experienced this with my parents iMac and several Apple keyboards, and with my PS3. To all the people posting facepalms, just because it hasn't happened to you doesn't mean it hasn't happened, although its defiantly not radiation.

There is a simple test you can do. Put your iPhone in airplane mode and then talk on it for 20 minutes. If you have the same effect than it's not radiation.

It's a grounding issue. Not a radiation issue. Lol. I experienced this with a Dell XPS latpop that had an aluminum palm rest. Any metallic device, keyboards, computers, laptops, phones and the like can cause the "tingle" to happen. Most times it's the nature of the device and not much can be done unless it's PHYSICALLY grounded via a wire. Without it, you might get some tingle. It won't hurt you though.

The OP would be best to ground the phone via a wire to a large metal object like a car and see if the tingle still happens. If not, there you go.

As mentioned previously, it's not radiation though. Lol. :D

Don't hold it there.

Aftereffects of using the Ab-Shocker for too long?
