dont worry too much about it - everyone is getting it. Most likely a software issue.

My dad updated his iPhone 4s to iOS6 this morning - I'll have a play around and see if it happens on that one too.

This happens to me when I change to the number keyboard on the Apple ID prompt. If I change to the letter keyboard and password back to the number keyboard it goes away. I took a video with my bfs iPhone of the flashing lines on the keys but it shows my log in..,

Yep that's exactly the same as me on all of the times I've witnessed it.

Hopefully Apple will fix it shortly.

Count me in as having this issue on my iPhone 5. It happened while I was using the keyboard in another application (not Apple Store). And it's only happened once. Since my phone is otherwise 99% flawless (very tiny tiny nick on chamfered bezel), I'm keeping it and will wait for a software update.

I've seen this on the keyboard, and even once on an App icon. I tried to grab a screenshot to see if it was hardware or software, but I think I missed it completely.

Just experienced this issue in the App Store. Hoping it's software and not a bad batch of phones.

Has anyone tried resetting the phone. I had the exact same issue, Once i reset my phone, i have gone a whole day now without any issues.

Please try that and report back here.
