Pro Wrestler Randy 'Macho Man' Savage Dies in Car Accident

Pro wrestling superstar Randy "Macho Man" Savage died after having a heart attack while driving his Jeep Wrangler, Fox News confirms.

The accident happened in Seminole, Fla.

A source tells Fox News that he "suffered a heart attack while driving and hit a tree."

He was awesome.

I was a big WWF fan back when Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Nikolai Volkov, The Iron Shiek, Jimmy Superfly Snooka, JYD, Captain Lou, Jake The Snake, Jimmy Hart, Roddy Piper, The British Bulldogs, Hillbilly Jim, and the other greats were wrestling. After those guys started trickling out of the league (and I turned 11 ;)), I lost interest.

I was never a wrestling fan but he was bigger then life and was always fun to watch and listen too. He will be missed :(

This sounds about my enthusiasm for WWF. I loved watching it as a kid. Good stuff.

RIP Randy "OH YEAH" Savage........ :(

May Randy "Macho Man' Savage rest in peace.

:insert lightning and thunder with the gong:

(Undertaker reference).

This is just proof that the Rapture really is happening tomorrow. God needed a bouncer for the event and called Macho Man home early.

It's just proof that steroid abuse is bad for you. If you saw Randy in the last few years, the poor guy could hardly move his arms at all.

A lot of wrestlers die of heart problems at an early age because of substance abuse like pain killers (because as Chris Jericho put it in an interview, it's not "are you in pain today or not ? it's on a scale of 1 to 10, what's the pain like today ?") and steroids.

He will be missed.

:( Macho Man was one of my favourite wrestlers as a kid, along with Hulk Hogan and Jake the Snake. He'll definitely be missed. Oh yeah!

After reading the article, it seems a miracle that nobody else was killed or badly injured. He had a heart attack while driving, crossed to the other side of the road into oncoming traffic without hitting anyone, then hit a tree in such a way that he was killed, but his wife, who was a passenger in his car, was only slightly injured.

I first heard about this from Hulk Hogan on Twitter. Yes, Hulk Hogan uses Twitter and I follow him.

This is a sad day in the wrestling world.

Another wrestler who pumped himself full of steroids dies young. I'm shocked I tell you.

You know you can be respectful. We all know why he had a heart attack early, but your sarcasm is highly disrespectful. If you've got nothing good to say, just don't post.

Irony, I loves it.

The only reason Nancy Benoit is on that list was because she was killed by her husband.

Not all on that list died as a result of problems related to steroids or what have you, but an awful lot do die awfully young.

Never said steroids were the reason. But, as you said, that's an awfully high number of deaths.

Irony, I loves it.

I posted the thing about steroid abuse myself. Your sarcasm was unnecessary. That's just the kind of lives these guys live, where pain and substance abuse is a fact and the "game" is more important than their very lives (7 days in cars, hustling from arena to arena just for the cheers of the crowd).

It's somewhat of a sad existence.

There was no reason for your sarcasm. It was purely disrespectful.
