I still can’t find out how reachibilty will be accessed on the X. Can someone tell me. Double tap the screen or what??

On a side note, the new way to screenshot is much easier than before..

Since I read it's gone I've been paying more attention to how often I use it, even on my 7. I use it a lot. This will be sorely missed for the X.

The iphone X is quite a bit smaller than the iPhone Plus models. Reachability was probably considered not necessary, especially since the control that was used to activate it no longer exists.

I watched a vid by MKBHD where he talks about the screen size and I worry about that too. Especially since control center and Notification Center are access on the top of the screen now. He basically said that he has big hands and even then it's tough.

I know I don't use the feature that often, but when I do, I'm very happy it's there.

But it’s not, the screen size is bigger then any screen they have had. So to not offer on there biggest screen is kind of BS..

If somebody is using the iPhone Plus one handed, reachability was always something that was useful. If you're using the iPhone with two hands, Reachability wasn't much of an issue or needed in that way.

I have been running iOS 11 for the last couple months and the one handed keyboard is softening the blow for no reachability. I still think they have to bring it back for next year and the 6.3 Xs

I often forget I even have that feature on my iPhone 7 Plus...

Same here. I had to turn it off because I was accidentally activating it all the time when I first got my 6+. Totally forgot it even existed.

As someone who used my 6+ and 6s+ with two hands, yeah, that definitely coincides with my usage. I forgot it existed cuz I always use my phone with two hands.

I guess it only really mattered while driving. Lol

Is x's screeen big enough that it requires reach ability?

It’s bigger then the + size screen. It’s the biggest screen they have ever had! Heck yes

It's not about the size of the screen, but the size of the actual device, and the X is smaller than the Plus phones.

That being said, it is still larger than the 6/6s/7/8, and those phones feature reachability. Apple wasn't kidding back when they went on about how the 4" phones were designed based on the area that most people can reach easily with their thumb. Reaching the top corners of any larger phones one-handed requires most people to adjust their grip awkwardly.
