I ordered from Apple.com and now I have a tracking number by using your method. It says "initiated" and anticipated ship date jun 20, est delivery june 23. I remember last time I ordered an iPhone that it at first gave an early date but was then changed. So it is a fedex thing and I do expect we'll all get ours on the 24 to make a splash launch.

I was unable to set up the "subscribe for email notifications" from that fedex site, retry later it said.

Oh right. My order at Apple also says Prepared for Shipment, but Fedex shows it as being shipped early this morning. Not sure what to tell you.

Okay, so I decided to check it again just now, and when I typed in my phone number, it brings me to a screen where it shows two tracking numbers. Both are under the same phone number, but one is on schedule (shipped 6/19 and delivery is 6/24 by 4:30 p.m.), while the other one is initiated and scheduled to ship on 6/21 with delivery on 6/23 (by noon).

This is very weird that they would have different delivery dates. Even though I know that I will not be getting it early, it is just weird to see two different dates for them.

I checked mine earlier today and nothing... just checked again using June 19 as the shipping date and it worked! Says it'll ship tomorrow (June 21) and be here (in Columbia, probably not at my house) on June 23 by 10:30 a.m.

It worked for me except I had to use the phone that my CC uses for billing purposes not my iphone #. Says it's set to ship on 6/21 with an estimated delivery of 6/23!!! I'm sure Apple will ask them to hold it until 6/24 but that will be here soon enough!!! Can't wait!!!

Doesn't work for either of my phones....my number just pulls up the iMac they just shipped me last week and my wifes pulls up nothing but both still showing prepared for shipment on Apple.com...

I ordered two, both with the same CC. I only have a tracking number for 1, and an email from apple that says it is being delivered on the 23rd. Would they both be in the same package? On the Apple site, one says shipped, the other says not yet shipped. Concerned that I may only get one.

Using the above method I was able to track my orders to my local ATT store. The have had them on hand since the 1oth and 15th!!!
