Quite glad was this purchase finally found a case that offer good protection and ruggedness well at the same time having nice quality materials and functional clicky buttons
I have been through a lot of cases my first one was a Apple clear case and have been a user of the clear case since my iPhone 12 Pro, although I like the clear case a lot and I’m quite convinced they offer good protection simply because the hard polycarbonate case is very hard to take off from the phone and they have a very pronounced lip that protects the screen against falls , and it has saved my iPhone 12 Pro, many times, but this year, the clear case had exceptionally terrible seal against dust and lint each time I put it in my pocket. I have to take the phone out and clean it, and this isn’t good for the phone as it’s more susceptible to having dust scratching it from the inside and the option to continuously clean it was impractical because I know from experience that the hard polycarbonate nature of the clear case will deform from repetitively taking out the phone from the Case. Making the case too loose for the phone and rendering it un useful to protect the phone against drops
Then I bought the spigen ultra T case the case had a better seal against dust however the material was horrible, and the buttons were very mushy and it had a lot of rough edges so it was a very hard case to like after being used to good quality cases like the Apple ones
I watched several other reviews and in summary
Apple Silicon case: was a no go for me because it can easily come off the phone on the edges during drops and it had very minimal screen lip protection to begin with
AULUMU A17 frosted case : initially liked the case but I found that the case aluminum cover for the camera plateau was initially designed was without the rubber insert that they have now so there was a potential for the aluminum cover to scratch the phone however in later models, they have made a lazy modification to provide that rubber insert that you place between the camera, Plateau Cover and the phone, but it makes the phone sit unevenly with the case and makes the top part of the phone raised, making the upper portion of the screen having almost no protection from the case
I really liked the looks of the nomad traditional leather cases, but sadly they don’t offer any protection for the Screen as the case edges are almost sitting flush with the screen. Finally, I settled with the nomad rugged case and I’m very impressed with it my only complaint is that Magsafe strength is underwhelming, but it’s still usable
