Im trying to justify getting a natural Ti but, I already have a SBSS S4 and a SS S4.

To me easy solution you sell the SBSS S4 and SS S4 to pay for the S5 Ti? You don't need 3 watches... Sell them pay for the one you really want.

I just can't understand the attraction to a Titanium AW. It looks dull and lifeless to me. OK, so it's very light, but how much of an advantage is this?

I love the natural Ti and am not a fan of the gold options, but I do understand how there are people that are attracted to it.

Choice is a wonderful thing, and with the 5 series Apple to me has enough options to appeal to the masses for their individual preference.

That makes the most sense. Selling the S4’s is a hassle though.

It is a hassle. Trying to sell my S4 SS Milanese and hard to sell. Wish Apple was offering the trade in values they did last year, as would just give it to them. Also - wish they held their values like iPhones do.

Life is imperfect. Given the hassle of private sale, if it were me and I BADLY wanted the new watch, I would just trade them into Apple. Another option would be to gift the watches. Given the low trade offer for S4, from Apple, I decided to give it to a relative as a gift.

#1. I agree that with the dull comment in terms of the overall attraction, but my main gripe isn’t necessarily just that, it just looks too much like the brushed regular aluminum.

#2. The difference between the stainless and titanium is approximately 7 g, you actually really can’t differentiate that weight holding it in the hand or wearing it on the wrist. They’re pretty similar in terms of overall weight contrast.

If you compare the Ti and aluminum in person you will notice quite a difference. The aluminum looks almost white compared to the Ti. bottom line one isn’t better or worse than the other. It personal preference.

It’s definitely personal preference, I’m partial to the stainless, but if I were to opt for the titanium, it would probably be the space black titanium strictly due to the DLC coating.
